Public seminar-September 19, 2022: Advancing Climate and Transportation Policy Research in Canada and the US

The Chair in Decarbonization presents the webinar entitled « Advancing Climate and Transportation Policy Research in Canada and the US ».

Summary: This public seminar brings leading experts on different issues of climate and transportation policy in Canada and the US together in the context of a symposium organized at the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM) of the Joint Clean Climate Transport Research Partnership (JCCTRP). The JCCTRP is an interdisciplinary research partnership focusing on climate and transport policy in Canada and the US. The JCCTRP is especially interested on the relationship between transport/energy system modeling and the policy process. At the public seminar on September 19, experts from Quebec, Ontario, California, New England and Washington DC will reflect on advances in climate and transportation policy research in Canada and the US and opportunities for synergies. Funding for the JCCTRP has been provided by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) as well as the Chair in Decarbonization at UQAM.
